This exciting rebrand is more than just a new logo and uniform; it's a celebration of their championship legacy and a nod to the dedicated fans who have been with them since the beginning.

Let's dive into the details! The iconic "M" from their original logo has been reimagined, now taking center stage in their primary mark. Positioned at a precise 19.97-degree angle (a nod to their founding year), it's a bold statement of their enduring identity.

But here's where it gets interesting: the sharp right corner pays homage to the three geometric rings of their original logo, even though the planet Mercury itself has no rings! It's a unique twist that adds a layer of depth to their brand.

The "M" sits atop an orange circle with a purple crescent, symbolizing the shadowed side of the planet. Enclosed within a roundel, the global logo features "Phoenix" and "Mercury" wordmarks, flanked by four "planetary rings" on each side.

And this is the part most people miss: the four rings are actually broken into eight lines in the primary logo, representing the Mercury's status as one of the original eight WNBA franchises. It's a subtle yet powerful symbol of their history and legacy.

The team has also unveiled their first-ever secondary logo, featuring the Arizona state outline with basketball seams and a new "Merc" moniker. The matching wordmarks are rendered in a bold new font, "Mighty Mercury," which is also used in their updated "PHX" alternate logo.

When it comes to uniforms, the Mercury has gone all out. The slightly curved wordmarks, symbolizing the horizon on Mercury, are prominently displayed across the chest of their new white Heroine and purple Explorer Edition designs.
